Flowers By Claire Slater

When I moved to Yorkshire with my husband and two small children I took up flower arranging and rediscovered my creative self. I eventually decided to qualify as a professional florist and it was at this time that I started doing flowers for friends. Encouraged by my friends and family, word soon spread and I found myself running my own business.

I am based in Sicklinghall near Wetherby where I create beautiful bespoke designs for weddings, events and special occasions. I pride myself in my ability to interpret a client's brief and create displays with flowers which convey the right message from creating the perfect party atmosphere to expressing a feeling of love or loss.

It is a privilege to share in the joy of a bride choosing flowers for her wedding day, a couple celebrating 50 years together or planning a special event. I delight in creating designs with a personal touch which together with my keen eye for detail, I believe shows in my work.
