About the Business

I have always had my nose and fingers in anything creative, from a child it was artwork with my Mother's lipstick and making perfume in my Grandmother's rose garden. I could always be found in the greenhouse, fingers in to something and everything, was always a little scruffy and was happiest when running around the meadow with flowers in my hat. To be honest not much has changed.

Today I am a qualified and experienced wedding florist and I bring my own sense of style to my work, offering rustic wildness to sumptious flower combinations and arrangements under the 'Martha and the Meadow' brand. As a wedding florist I work with the best quality seasonal flowers to reflect the yearly calender and importantly 'that moment in time'. As well as using Dutch cut flowers, I use the best of British flowers from growers across the south as well as many of the artisan flower farms here in Dorset itself!

My experience within events and high-end hospitality has taught me the importance of 'setting the scene' for any event and I have learnt that flowers and creative styling are just as an important as the menu or wine list in creating that perfect atmosphere.

With my floristry experience and knowledge I will be able to bring together your colour palates and wedding flower ideas as one, using the finest seasonal stems to produce knock out blooms and spectacular flower arrangements.
