About the Business
Lockwoods Florist is truly a family business, established in 1944 and now run by the fourth generation of dedicated and talented florists. Having begun as market gardeners, the Lockwoods family developed their horticultural skills and added a natural flair for floristry which has enabled the company to become one of Yorkshire's premier retail florists specialising in exquisite wedding work and unique funeral tributes. The business is fronted by National Diploma Holder and Chelsea Flower Show Exhibitor Mrs Jean Silvester NDSF FSF and her daughter Mrs Fiona Andrews BSc Hons and licensee.
The Lockwood name is traditionally associated with quality and Lockwoods is a long standing member of Interflora. We have the ability to provide flowers for any occasion and offer same day national delivery up to 1pm. To complement our floral gift service we also stock a range of delicious boxed chocolates and wines and Champagnes.
